DOMAR

The Doctoral Program “Marine Science, Technology and Management” (DOMAR) is a program that was born within the CEI Campus do Mar. It is an international and cross-border doctoral program offered by the universities members of the Campus do Mar: in Galicia (Spain) the universities of  Coruña, Santiago de Compostela y Vigo, and in the north of Portugal the universities of Aveiro, Minho, Tras os Montes e Alto Douro and Porto.

 

In addition to these universities, the Spanish public research organizations CSIC (Spanish National Research Council) and IEO (Spanish National Research Council), are also members, with their marine research centers located in Galicia: the Marine Research Institute (CSIC) and the oceanographic centers of Vigo and A Coruña (IEO).

DOMAR, named Doctor in Marine Sciences Technology and Management, is a joint degree of the participating universities in the Doctoral Program.

 

The mission of this DOMAR doctoral program is to train the best professionals and researchers in the field of Sciences, Technologies and Marine Management in their different scientific, technical, economic and social applications, generating quality research and international impact and also providing the industry with the best tools to improve its competitiveness on a global scale.
