Students who wish to enroll in this Doctoral Program must submit their application in accordance with the admission and enrollment regulations established by each of the participating universities. To do so, applicants must meet the required criteria and provide the corresponding supporting documentation.
Once it has been verified that the candidate meets the administrative requirements, the Academic Committee will proceed with the selection and admission of candidates. This selection process will follow the OTM-R (Open, Transparent, Merit-based recruitment) principles, which aim to ensure that candidates are evaluated fairly and objectively, without discrimination, and through clear procedures that promote equal opportunities.
The CAPD will assess applications for admission to the doctoral program based on the following criteria:
• Academic record of undergraduate studies, weighted by the average grade of the degree (25%)
• Academic record of master’s studies, weighted by the average grade of the degree (15%)
• Previous research experience (20%)
• Professional experience in the field of the doctoral program (10%)
• Language proficiency, including English levels above the required (B1) or other languages (5%)
• Endorsement from a PhD researcher indicating (i) the potential feasibility of the future thesis within a research line of the program and (ii) their ability to act as supervisor if they meet the necessary requirements (15%)
• Personal interview (10%)
To be admitted to the doctoral program, a minimum score of 60% must be achieved. The Academic Committee may establish additional criteria compatible with the above to further specify the application of the stated principles and criteria. It may also conduct personal interviews regarding the merits presented, if deemed appropriate.
