DOMAR offers 100 places every year across all the universities associated with the programme. The initial allocation of places for the 2022-2023 academic year is as follows:

Documents to submit:

These documents must be submitted to the administrative office of the centre where the pre-registration was completed.

Pre-registration receipt (document generated when completing the online pre-registration).
Certified copy of the bachelor’s or undergraduate degree certificate, and of the master’s degree or postgraduate studies giving access to the doctoral programme.
Certified copy of the academic transcript for the bachelor’s or undergraduate degree and for the master’s degree.
Up-to-date curriculum vitae.
Two letters of recommendation from two academics, one of them from the person who will act as thesis supervisor. It must state that they undertake to supervise the thesis.
Proof of English level: or a declaration of having a sufficient level of English to follow the programme’s training activities.

Admission to the DOMAR doctoral programme

In addition to the general requirements, the programme requires:

Proof of a knowledge of English equivalent to at least level B1, since English is the main language of scientific communication at international level. In addition, both the advanced and transversal training courses and various activities, among them Student’s Day, are taught mainly in English. Proof of English level must be provided by means of an officially recognised certificate. If the applicant has the required knowledge but no certificate, they must submit a sworn declaration attesting to a command equivalent to the required level.
Two reference letters, one of which must come from a doctoral researcher who, if appointed by the Academic Committee, undertakes to supervise or co-supervise the thesis. If the applicant does not have a doctoral thesis supervisor, the Academic Committee will provide support and guidance in finding one, taking their area of interest into account.

The Academic Committee will verify that all applicants meet the programme’s access requirements and that the proposed line of research is aligned with the research areas established in the doctoral programme.
