SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS, RESEARCH COURSES |
Activities authorized or accredited by the thesis supervisor will be recognized or provided if related with the content of the doctoral thesis or aspects of a methodological nature. Should be activities directed to research with equivalent level to the CFA or CFT (understand: taught by doctors), and be justified its convenience and quality by the thesis director. |
PRESENTATION OF COMMUNICATIONS IN SCIENTIFIC CONGRESSES |
Participation (not mere attendance) will be valued in congresses with high academic consideration. A certificate of attendance and participation must be presented, stating the work presented. There must be authorization or justification from the director. |
INDEXED PUBLICATIONS. JCR |
In order to present the doctoral thesis, the doctoral candidate must have published at least one JCR article (200 hours). |
INDEXED PUBLICATIONS. OTHERS |
For other non-JCR indexed are proposed corrective coefficients between 0.50 and 0.75 of a JCR based on other quality indications. |
BOOKS AND BOOK CHAPTERS |
Student participation in the publication of complete books or book chapters will be valued. They must be published by recognized publishers. |
PATENTS |
The active participation of the student in the development of a patent will be valued. |
RESEARCH STAYS |
The stay must be documented and have the approval of the director. Prior authorization must be requested from the Academic Committee. |
OCEANOGRAPHIC CAMPAIGNS |
The activity must be certified and authorized or justified by the director of the thesis. There must be a Report of results or be included the fundamental results in the Student’s Annual Research Plan. |
STUDENT’S DAY |
Attendance at at least one Student’s Day event during the doctorate period will be valued. |
PREPARATION AND ANNUAL DEFENSE OF RESEARCH PLANS |
A total of 100 hours are recognized for all positive evaluations of the Annual Research Plans. |
