DOMAR Student’s Day is the biannual meeting of doctoral programme students from Campus do Mar. It is both a scientific and a social gathering. Throughout the day, researchers will briefly present their thesis plans to their peers, while also sharing a programme of complementary activities outside the academic setting, such as public communication workshops or visits to the surroundings of the host town.
This meeting is attended by students enrolled in the DOMAR – Marine Science, Technology and Management doctoral programme, as well as members of the Academic Commission and teaching staff.
To date, five editions of the Student’s Day have been held: 2014 in Peniche, 2016 in Aveiro, 2018 in Vigo, 2021 held virtually due to the pandemic, and 2023 in Baiona.
