DOMAR’s Student’s Day is the biannual meeting of the Campus do Mar’s doctoral programme students. It is both a scientific event as well as a cohabitation event. Over the course of the event, researchers will briefly present their thesis plan before their colleagues, and they will also share a programme of complementary training activities outside the academic context, such as public speaking workshops or city tours where the event is taking place.
Students enrolled in the doctoral programme DOMAR – Marine Science, Technology and Management, as well as members of the Doctoral Committee and professors participate in this event. Thus far, four editions have taken place: Student’s Day 2014, in Peniche in July of 2014, Student’s Day 2016, in Aveiro in November of 2016, Student’s Day 2018, in Vigo in June of 2018, and Student’s Day 2021, organised by the Universidad de Minho, who had to organise the event online due to the pandemic.
